Say Hello To The New Navigon 7300T

Navigon got cozy with Rand McNally a few months ago and now we are seeing the fruits of that relationship with three new GPS units, two packaged with the familiar traveling name.

The 7300T adds, not only the Rand McNally functions, but also Navigon’s Panorama View into one device. The unit comes with somewhat standard high-end GPS features with Bluetooth handsfree, voice-input, 3D Landmark View, but it now will verbally announce when there is a traffic issue rather than simply sending a notification onto the device. Plus, it retains the previous generation’s Zagat ratings and reviews for a selection amount of restaurants.

The big headliner is the Rand McNally feature that loads 250 special routes onto the device which will guide drivers to Weekend Getaways, Scenic Tours and Regional Trips. Might be nice to finally ditch the daily grind and get away for a while with a little help from the ol’ GPS. This guy has a Q2 2009 release slated with a $399.99 MSRP.
