Sweet Fury!
For 2010, Honda introduces the Fury, a full-on chopper featuring a fork raked out to 38 degrees and the longest wheelbase ever on a production Honda motorcycle at 71.25 inches!
Power comes from the same 1312cc, liquid-cooled, 52-degree, single-pin-crank V-Twin as in the VTX1300 series. When we asked Senior Manager for Product Planning Chuck Miller why not something larger in displacement, he said, 'The 1300cc engine is the target for us at the moment, because that is what we're the best at and because that is what our customers tell us they are looking for.'
The Fury features 4 inches of travel up front and just under that out back, so riders won't feel like they're getting tortured on a rigid. Other refinements include fuel-injection, shaft drive and the excellent fit and finish we've come to expect from Big Red. The Fury will have an MSRP under $15,000, with a pile of accessories available.
